Set in a gently rolling rural valley with sweeping views out to the east-facing coast — Little Barrier and Great Barrier Islands on the horizon. Tī tree, flax and native kawakawa surround the tubs. Birdsong is included.
About 60 minutes from the Auckland Harbour Bridge. 6 minutes from Mangawhai Village.

Tubby Tub hot tubs (kawakawa, lavender & chamomile infused), a Pure Sweat Anu Finnish hot stone sauna in thermally modified Nordic Pine, a 6°C ice bath, a massage hut, yoga space, fire pit with Cape Cod chairs, viewing deck with umbrellas, changing room, bag storage, and free on-site parking.
Our premium stainless steel Tubby Tubs comfortably seat 6 adults (unofficial record: 8). Temperatures range from a gentle 38°C through to 41.5°C for those who like it hot — we can adjust to suit. Infused with native kawakawa, lavender and chamomile.
A Pure Sweat Anu Finnish hot stone sauna built from thermally modified Nordic Pine, with panoramic windows framing the view. Temperatures sit between 86°C and 90°C. Split-level benches let you choose your heat intensity.
Kept at 6°C, always ready. For an alternate experience, or as your reset after the heat. You're encouraged to plunge, but it's never compulsory.
Gently rolling rural valley out to the east-facing ocean, with Little Barrier and Great Barrier Islands on the horizon. Tubs are surrounded by tī tree, flax, native kawakawa and incredible birdlife.
Your own towel, togs, jandals, and beautifully clean skin. Please don't bring your own food, drinks or alcohol. Payments are taken via the website only for convenience and security.
Hot tubs are booked in 1-hour blocks; the sauna takes around 30 minutes. Massage durations vary. If availability allows, you can extend on the day. We take bookings up to 8 months in advance.
We don't run a standard food menu. For group bookings we work with an off-site caterer for food and drink including alcohol (via off-licence) — minimum 4 days notice required. Phone Amy: 021 121 4543.
Massage is available with advance booking (60 mins from $140 single, $180/$280 couples). Yoga runs Tuesdays 9am, $35 per person. We have 150+ practitioners on our books covering Sound Journeys, Breathwork and more — contact Amy for bespoke.
This is our jam. We love groups — girls' weekends, hens parties, birthdays, corporate wellness. No minimum or maximum group size. Private hire is case by case. Phone Amy: 021 121 4543.
We operate in most conditions — soaking in the rain is one of our guests' favourite things. In extreme weather or a state of emergency, we'll reschedule you free of charge.
